Managing Director & Founder
With over 15 years of experience in the carbon, timber and forestry industries, Jos founded ECORO BV in 2019 to provide specialized consultancy services and sustainable carbon solutions. His extensive background includes senior roles in the industry, where he developed expertise in material technical expertise, global sourcing, trading, and business development.
Jos brings a unique combination of technical knowledge and business acumen to ECORO, with particular expertise in sustainable raw material sourcing, product development, and supply chain optimization.
Business development
Thanos Iliopoulos holds a degree in Forest and Nature Management and International Timber Trade from Larenstein University. He began his journey with Ecoro as a student, conducting in-depth market research on compostable plastics across Europe. Since then, he has been active in the charcoal market and explored the potential of carbon credits in tropical regions affected by exploitation.
Currently, Thanos is focused on identifying opportunities for compostable and alternative plastic products within the evolving European market landscape.
